Ed Zitron finally calls out Hank Green for his bullshit AI videos. Love to see it. I don’t think Hank has plausible deniability anymore. He’s seen the criticisms. He can do the research. And if any money was involved he can give it back.

"We've Lost Control Of AI"&10;Let's start with a simple statement: Hank Green should be fucking ashamed of himself, because he put out a video titled "We've Lost Control of Al," which begins with several straight up falsehoods:&10;• "Al agents can now win gold at the International Math Olympiad"&10;• "Book your flight"&10;• "Code a functioning app from scratch."&10;None of these statements are true. Hank, a guy who people love for being "nice" and being one of those epic bacon Science Guys, should know far better than to put out this drivel, referring to both OpenAl and Google's models "achieving a gold-level performance in the International Mathematical Olympiad" and then I assume not looking much harder than that.
