Sometimes I revisit an old bookmarked post to find that the domain now points to an ad farm site, or is just off line.

So many great creations sent to the internet archives. And what an amazing project that is.

It would be cool though if a trust existed (maybe it does?) that would pay in perpetuity domain and hosting fees through scholarship. Once a year, indie creators who’ve contributed important works on the web are entered.

Like historic site status but for urls.
