I wrote Why is gifting subscriptions so hard? a couple weeks ago. I had an idea to ask my family for “SaaS gifts” this Christmas, and was shocked (still am) that most of my subscription services lack a straightforward way to do this.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that omg.lol offers such a feature! You can buy a gift code good for up to ten years of the service. Amazing. I hope that catches on. Especially if social media as a service (SMaaS) becomes more prevalent.
