@JoeHoffman yeah I think that’s the big disagreement. Are we the majority or minority? I believe we are the minority because of these soft power plays to the center/right-of-center.

We’ve seen often that when we have a populist message, we unlock new voting demographics. We saw it with Obama (even if it was mostly fake), and most recently with Mamdani.

The problem is, democratic leadership has rejected democratic socialism because of their corporate and high-income donors who have hijacked the party. So the DNC primaries progressive candidates in favor of centrists.

Neoliberalism is dying. But instead of accepting it, democrats are clinging to the old world at all costs. Even if that cost is fascism.
